The Keys

The Keys to the Door

We have had and unusual number of learned preachers of religion publishing books and gaining their fortune by doing so. We know they are students of the bible by the things they write in books.

We also know they could teach the word, all the word and bring sinning souls to Christ, Instead of where they are leading them, I cannot think of any reason they quit just short, It is hard for me to understand how these educated people can not understand the directions given in the bible. How can they preach most of the word so as to draw thousands to their gatherings and leave out the key to the door? I just can’t understand why they would bring the people to the door and not include a way in. (The keys to the door)

But then I realize Satan does not care how close you come as long as you do not have the keys to enter GOD’S Kingdom. I suspect he thinks that it is even better to have people so close yet so far away. I suspect the only thing that would make Satan happier would be to see a member of Christ body fall. And I believe that would be the only thing that would trouble Christ more, than to see people brought to the door yet not given the keys.
Mk:16:15: And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
16: He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
As you see in the verses above there is no ambiguity in what the apostles were told, it is plain. Jesus tells them what to do, and he tells them what the results have to be.
Billy Graham, Joel Osteen, Rick Warren, Charles Stanley. All these people are educated, not only in the ways of the world, but in the teachings of Jesus Christ. I am not picking on these people exclusively they are just those who come to mind.
I just cannot understand how people of their education, and their claim of belief in Jesus, can teach partial truths.
Partial blindness will definitely cause you to stumble, I have had experience with this so I know of which I speak. When I turned forty seems overnight my eyesight started failing me, letting me down. So I searched for someone to help me, and found them, when I was fifty seven I was in an accident that left me partially blind in the left eye, so I stumbled until I had found help once again. So I learned when you stumble ask for help, I had been stumbling most of my life, until I ask Christ to show me the way, and I believe he has. I am so thankful that when I searched for better eye sight that there were people available who did not say that is not the best, but it is good enough for you.
I am even more grateful that when I began searching for the way to Christ that there were people and a book available to give me the whole truth, and not say that is enough for you. When you hold back the keys to the kingdom you not only condemn your own soul but those who follow you to the door but can’t open it.
I can only imagine how Christ sees these people, but I see them as drunks stumbling from a bar getting into their car and driving, speeding towards destruction. I believe that is where partial insight will lead you.
And why these leaders hold back the keys I cannot explain, and they are leaders, leaders to destruction.
The only reason I can fathom (understand) why people prefer this teaching is pride, they are just to proud to admit publicly they are living in sin and wish to change, repent. Why go through the embarrassment of admitting before all these witnesses, you have been a sinner, when you can sit silently in your seat and accept Christ in your life.
Mt:10:32: Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
Mt:10:33: But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
When you work to bring souls to the door, please give them the keys.
Acts:2:38: Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
